How does light therapy work?
“LED therapy uses light in the visible spectrum – including blue, yellow, amber and red – as well as light beyond the visible spectrum to penetrate different depths of skin. As the light wavelength increases, so does the depth of penetration,” explains Dr. Gross.
This light is absorbed by receptors in the skin, just like topical skincare, and each colour of light stimulates a different response in the skin. LED is suitable for use on all skin types and tones.
LED light therapy is a process of emitting low light wavelengths through the skin.
These wavelengths cannot be felt and do not generate any heat upon exposure.

How to use
Keep skin clean: you need to use it after removing makeup and cleaning your skin. (To prevent cosmetics or skin care products containing VC, VA and fruit acids, salicylic acid, alcohol and other photosensitive ingredients).
No facial mask is required during exposure. It is recommended to spray make-up water to replenish water when exposure. After exposuring, no need to wash your face, apply essence and cream directly.
Time and distance: It is recommended to take 10-25 minutes as the best irradiation time and 3-18inch as the best irradiation distance
Frequency: At the beginning, it is recommended to use 3-4 times a week. After that, when the skin is adjusted, it can be used once a day even in the morning and evening. Perform 7 to 14 times a week until you feel the effect.
Illuminated area: can be applied to any part of the body except the eyes. We recommend using safety goggle glasses for protection.

LED, or light emitting diode therapy, is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light, including red and blue.
NASA originally developed it for plant growth experiments on shuttle missions and later found it to have promise for wound treatment. LED light therapy is now used by some aestheticians to help regenerate the skin from aging. It’s also used for acne.
Your healthcare provider uses red or blue light frequencies based on the skincare concern. Red is primarily used for anti-aging, while blue is used for acne treatment.
Safety:
Unlike other types of light therapy, LEDs do not contain ultraviolet rays. Therefore, they’re safe for regular use.
LED light therapy doesn’t cause burns compared to other anti-aging treatments such as chemical peels, dermabrasion, and laser therapy. It may be safe for all skin colors and types.
Side effects are rare, but may include increased inflammation, redness, and rashes.
Convenience:
Office procedures take 20 minutes at a time. You’ll need to go back once a week for up to 10 weeks, then only once every few months.

LED Light Therapy At Home
If you can’t make it to a healthcare provider’s office, you can still try LED light therapy at home. At-home devices come in the form of masks or wands that you apply to your face for several minutes at a time. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
Targeted areas
While LED light therapy can technically be used on any part of the body, its most popular use is for the face. Skin damage tends to occur to your face because it’s exposed to the elements more than other body parts.
LED therapy can also be used on the neck and chest, which are other areas that tend to show signs of aging.
What to expect after therapy
LED light therapy is noninvasive, so no recovery time is required. You should be able to continue with your everyday activities once your treatment is over.
In-office LED light therapy requires up to 10 sessions or more, each spaced out about a week apart.
You may start to see minor results after your first session. Results will be more dramatic and noticeable once you’ve finished all of your treatments.
Even after you’ve achieved the recommended number of sessions, your results aren’t permanent.
As your skin cells turn over, you may lose some collagen and start to see signs of aging again. You may also start to see acne breakouts. This is why it’s recommended that you go back for maintenance treatments every few months or as recommended by your provider.
Home LED light therapy treatments aren’t as dramatic because the light frequencies aren’t as high.

- Discontinue use if you encounter any discomfort or skin redness that lasts for more than two hours. You may have sensitivity to light or another condition. Consult with your healthcare provider.
- Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not place or store the device where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Keep away all electrical appliances from water (including bath and shower). If the unit accidentally falls in water unplug immediately.
- Never drop or insert any object into any openings on the device.
- Use only the power adaptor(12V 0.6A) provided.
- Never operate this device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or submerged in water. Please contact the customer service team through the contact information on the manual to repair and replace the equipment.

I like the red light. This product gives you different levels of light, so you can start with low intensity and build up. Its very bright, but its not hot. I find it gives my complexion a brighter, clearer look.
I also use this for arthritis, and feels it calm the inflammation down.

Getting started with this red light therapy panel is easy. This panel can cover a good amount of area, but to reach certain areas it is movable. and you can set it up as needed to reach all areas. It’s easy to move, very light weight. I started off using this for three times a week for 15 minutes. It just depends on your results whether you choose to use it less or a little more. One of the benefits I’ve noticed is that it has reduced pain and muscle soreness that I experience. I have also noticed a boost in energy and I am sleeping much better at night. This panel can offer so many benefits- another result I am happy with is getting a boost of collagen and helping with wrinkles. It works great and I’m thankful for the help I get with it.
